The Lilac Ball This glittering annual event is a must do on the NELUNE Foundation calendar. The Lilac Ball for 2009, held in September, had a packed Grand Ballroom of more than 500 guests at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney enjoying one of the events of the year and opening their hearts and pockets to raise major dollars for the Foundation. Master of Ceremonies was long-time NELUNE Foundation supporter and media personality, Rebecca Wilson who did a great job in ensuring all was kept on track during this action-packed evening. The star-studded line-up of entertainment included performances from sensational musical trio, The String Angels, the legendary Jimmy Barnes, magical genius, Matt Hollywood and the hilariously funny, Vince Sorrenti. Deal or No Deal's dynamic host, Andrew O'Keefe conducted the hugely successful Live Auction and the money kept pouring in for the Silent Auction and Raffles. And there was dancing late into the night with brilliant band Network, another wonderful supporter of The Lilac Ball over many years, performing everyone's favourites.

The Lilac Trivia This annual event is a brain-teasing, fun-filled evening where friends and colleagues gather to test their knowledge and win fabulous prizes whilst raising money for a wonderful cause. Individuals and corporate tables are welcome to join in this battle of the minds. The Lilac Trivia 2010 event, held in February, was a resounding success, raising in excess of $22,000 for costs associated with the NELUNE Foundation Patient Transport Vehicle which assists cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Some 300 guests vied for top spot with their teams answering the challenging questions on 'The Noughties' posed by Trivia Master, Mike Peppou, while Mike's family, Leo Peppou, Maria Macolino, Natalia Caristo and Susan Langford, lent their support in ensuring the evening flowed smoothly. There were plenty of laughs from the audience with MC, Craig Reucassel from The Chaser in great form and fabulous trivia and raffle prizes on offer. Huawei, 1300Flowers, Lindt Chocolates and Off-Site Connections also provided generous contributions to the evening. The big winners of the trivia for the second consecutive year were Rogan's Heroes while the team from Adaptra, calling themselves Snow White and the Elves, picked up the prize for Best Dressed.
